The “Beauty Revolution” Announcement Film

Project Overview
This project marked the launch of a strategic partnership between Bokeh Spa at Montcalm East and Grown Alchemist, introducing a new treatment philosophy grounded in biological, science-led skincare.
The announcement was delivered through a bold, social-first film designed to challenge the soft, serene visual language traditionally associated with spa marketing. Instead, the creative positions the collaboration as a redefinition of modern beauty, signalling confidence, credibility, and intent from first glance.
Launched simultaneously across both brands’ social channels, the asset functions as a shared brand statement – bridging Grown Alchemist’s clinical, results-driven identity with Montcalm East’s contemporary, lifestyle-led luxury.
Creative Direction & Messaging
The film moves away from passive relaxation narratives and instead frames beauty as an active, evidence-based discipline.
- Positioning: “Biological Beauty” – a results-focused approach rooted in cellular science rather than indulgence alone
- Tone: Confident, assertive, and contemporary, aligning with both brands without diluting either identity
- Narrative Intent: To establish immediate authority while creating intrigue around the new spa offering
Manifesto-style messaging such as “THIS IS A BEAUTY REVOLUTION” and “WE ARE HERE” is used to disrupt the social feed and clearly signal a new chapter for Bokeh Spa.
Visual & Technical Execution
- Cinematic Contrast:
The high-contrast black-and-white grade removes visual noise and places emphasis on skin texture, movement, and authenticity – reinforcing the science-driven philosophy behind the partnership. - Editing for Social:
The pacing is intentionally sharp and rhythmic, designed for fast-scroll environments. Percussive cuts are synchronised to a modern, driving beat to create momentum and a sense of arrival. - Typography:
Bold, oversized sans-serif typography is used to deliver key statements with clarity and authority, ensuring legibility and impact across mobile devices. - Mobile-First Format:
Final assets were produced in a native 9:16 aspect ratio, optimised for full-screen immersion on Instagram Reels and Stories.
The Offering: A New Spa Philosophy
The film introduces a redefined treatment experience at Bokeh Spa:

Incorporating Grown Alchemist’s high-performance, plant-based formulations within a professional spa environment. - The Bokeh Experience:

A considered balance between East London’s urban, progressive energy and Grown Alchemist’s refined, science-led credibility.
Role & Contribution
The original video asset was supplied by Grown Alchemist as part of the partnership launch.
My role focused on content production, brand alignment, and delivery, ensuring the final output represented both brands as equal collaborators. Responsibilities included:
- Producing and adapting the supplied footage into Instagram Reels and Stories
- Ensuring balanced brand representation across visual language, messaging, and pacing
- Refining typography, hierarchy, and on-screen messaging to align with Montcalm East’s tone while respecting Grown Alchemist’s established identity
- Finalising all publishing-ready assets and formats for coordinated release across both brands’ social channels
The footage itself was not shot or directed by me; my contribution centred on social production, brand stewardship, and launch execution. Video is currently available on request.
